Undoubtedly, personal image matters enormously to the relationship between people and in our socia
l life and its impact extends to our professional journey no matter if we are in a position of entry level or senior. Personal image is seen in the perception of the one we work, we interact daily . This perspective is not confined to an overview, but a complex image that sums up several sections: the way we dress, make-up approached, weight, gender – female or male, and not least physical appearance. The physical aspect – an essential element of success
A study published in the Journal of Economic Psychology shows that beautiful people are better paid than others. They win 12% more than the others because they are considered more competitive, have more confidence in them, have a cooperative attitude and are more sociable. It is also likely that physically attractive people to be chosen for a job when competing with the same candidates that have the same qualifications and the same studies. Studies conducted in Canada, the United States and China have shown that beautiful people earn with 7,5-15% more than those with an average beauty.
Success is considered very important by 82% of men . Most men (73%), and most women (69%) believe that there is a strong link between physical appearance and degree of success of an individual male.
The study found that there are certain expectations on the appearance of modern man. 94% of men and 94% of women believe that modern man must care for their appearance or physically. An impressive majority both in terms of men and women believe that men have better care of their appearance than they were 10 years ago.
A psychologist specialist, observed that a number of psychological studies demonstrated a link between an enviable physical appearance and self-esteem. A man who looks good is more confidence in own abilities and has a higher level of self-esteem.
The key is a smooth and a freshly shaved cheek, as proven by the results of the study: 78% of women and 82% of men associate these characteristics with the idea of success. Most of the men agree that shaving is a daily ritual essence of care. But in addition, some men admit that they would accept expert advice in terms of physical appearance if it would attract success.
