Taking care of your teeth
White and healthy teeth are a very important aspect not only for appearance of a person, but also for health. If you will take time daily to care for your teeth a few minutes, you will not have to spend enormous sums to solve them later.
Certainly, spots on enamel, caries or lack of a tooth not only they don’t let you smile but they also affect your charisma. To prevent these inconveniences, it is important to carefully care of your teeth and do not neglect the necessary controls to the dentist once every 4 months .A good dental hygiene helps to prevent the occurrence of caries, to strengthen and to protect your teeth and gums. For teeth whitening you can use special pastes, gels or you can call for a professional way, which is practiced in dental offices.
Caries – enemy number 1
It is caused by many factors, of which an important role in plaque germs. These microorganisms favors the emergence of an acid which destroys tooth enamel. Plaque is an organic layer that forms on the tooth surface from bacteria, bacterial debris organized in a matrix, and minerals that will later deposit . How can caries be prevented? Brush your teeth frequently to remove food debris, provide them the necessary elements (calcium fluoride),to strengthen them using preparations that decreases mouth acidity.
How should you clean your teeth?
With a regular toothbrush, of plastic, brush your teeth for 3 minutes, first with small horizontal movements, then the vertical motion, from the gums to the tip of the tooth. Brush well all the sides of teeth. Electric toothbrush can ease your work, but not more effective than usual. It is recommended, especially for children and people who, for some reason cannot use classic toothbrush. Very important is the massage of the gums with your toothbrush.
When should you brush?
Compulsory morning and evening, before bed, but preferably should be brushing after every meal. To be more effective as brushing, don not wet the toothbrush before washing. Before you wash, remove food debris with dental floss, and in the end, you can rinse with mouthwash. Remember that after making these maneuvers any food ingestion during the night clear the brushing effects.
Go to the dentist!
Do not wait to get hold by the terrible teeth pain to decide to go to the doctor. Pain is a sign that the rot has already come close to the pulp (in the “core” tooth), and this shows that the treatment will be prolonged and painful than if you had taken the time. You should do an inspection every 4 months, because only a dentist can detect early manifestations of possible caries (white spots, mate) and he can treat them in time.
